Insight:
Ericsson is recruiting an experienced senior engineer at its Bangalore site. You will also be responsible for receiving outage reports from the operator’s customer service center (or the operator’s customer directly in some very specific cases), resolving them to the customer’s satisfaction, and providing meaningful status on repair and/or restoration activity to customer service. Center (or to the Operators’ customers).

Roles and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should be able to:
Manage all incidents reported via the ticketing tool or on customer request.
Work with ISPs and third-party vendors to identify issues with customer infrastructure equipment.
Help on-site engineers verify and resolve issues with equipment, and make prudent decisions to ensure downtime is as short as possible.
Document the new resolutions identified.
Process new orders received from the customer, ensuring that accuracy, quality and SLA are maintained for each order.
Eligibility:
Basic Linux administration skills (ERNI using Red Hat server)
Shell scripting skills
ORACLE experiment (ERNI using ORACLE 11.g)
PL SQL to write, maintain and troubleshoot queries
PERL and/or Phyton to develop, maintain and troubleshoot manual tools supporting manual or automated processes
Visual Basic/Excel macro to support existing tools or develop new/enhance existing processes
RAN integration experience (2-3 years).
